NEW CAMPAIGN
Module 9 will bring the new campaign "The Maze Engine". No campaign task costs AD. The only campaign currency is Tales of Adventure, which is gained via quests from Bruenor Battlehammer. The campaign features a very linear progression with a mixture of story and repeatable daily quests.
Upon release, all characters with level 60+ will be granted access to Mantol-Derith independent if they completed the module 8 questline or not.
THE MAZE ENGINE STORYLINE
The campaign's storyline plays out similarly to its predecessor "The Dwarven King". It continues the story following the events of the Underdark campaign: You aid several well known characters to defend the Underdark and the surface world from the Demonic Invasion.
Always starting from Mantol-Derith you will be assigned daily and non-daily quests that reward large quantities of exp, unbound Resonance Stones and RAD. A quest that may be repeated every 5 days after campaign completition also rewards PVP shards.
This way, the storyline especially benefits characters who are still leveling from 60 to 70. One Tales of Adventure (only campaign currency) is awarded per quest. All story quests may be repeated (with lower rewards) after completition.
The storyline has multiple story arcs that need to be unlocked via campaign tasks (a set amount of daily quest turn-ins are required).
BOONS
Boons are unlocked via campaign tasks and do not require additional special items.
Tier 1
Yes it does. New CN is shorter (more in line with other T2 dungeons) and has unique rewards. The demon lord Orcus is the final boss and he hits hard. Here is a solo clear video by u/lazalia.
With CN, old T2 Equipment pieces will come back as epic nonstat/transmutes/salvagables that can drop from all CN Bosses.
Additionally these bosses may drop "Shattered" refinement items for artifact equipment, which will work like artifact stones. Lesser (green) pieces will give 3000 and regular (blue) pieces will give 6000 for their respective category (Main-hand, Off-hand, Cloak and Belt).
4 NEW "OLD" LEVEL DUNGEONS
4 of the dungeons that got removed with mod 6 return as level dungeons only, namely being: The Cloak Tower, The Frozen Heart, Pirate King, Caverns of Karrundax.
All of the pre 60 dungeon mobs will now have slightly higher cooldowns on their signature abilities. Overall difficulty down.
Additionally these dungeons now drop the new Seal of the Adventurer that may be traded for various goods at a new Seal Trader in Protector's Enclave. These items are specially designed to help new characters advance in gear pre level 60.
Other now retired seals may be traded in for Seals of the Adventurer.
NEW GEAR
While not releasing any new major armor sets, module 9 brings several new equipment parts.
1. New Enchantments
2. Underdark Rings
The Underdark Ring collection will be completed with the missing stat-giving rings like Ring of Sudden Crit or Ring of stacking Life Steal. These mostly drop in Castle Never.
3. Demonic Artifacts
A new artifact set will be introduced. The artifact drops in Castle Never, the cloak is granted upon campaign completition and the belt may drop in regular or epic Demogorgon.

NEW GEAR
While not releasing any new major armor sets, module 9 brings several new equipment parts.
1. New Enchantments
- Demonic: A regular enchantment for offensive and defensive slots. Gives Power/Crit/Arpen for Off and Lifesteal/Deflect/HP for Deff. Drops exclusively in Castle Never.
- Shadowclad: An armor enchantment. Gives %Deflect chance and %Damage Resistance upon receiving Damage. Stacks fall off after successfully deflecting an attack. On trancendent it also gives short Invisibility upon deflecting an attack (4 duration and 30 cooldown). Shards drop in CN.
- Dread: A new Weapon Enchantment. Gives %Crit Severity (75% on trancendent). Also does %Weapon Damage as burn damage every second for 4 seconds that also reduces %Target's defense. BiS for HR.
2. Underdark Rings
The Underdark Ring collection will be completed with the missing stat-giving rings like Ring of Sudden Crit or Ring of stacking Life Steal. These mostly drop in Castle Never.
3. Demonic Artifacts

- Setbonus: "Increases your damage dealt by 20% depending on the difference between the player's HP and the target's HP."
% BONUS DAMAGE = |(% PLAYER HP) - (% TARGET HP)|/5. - Example: If you have 100% HP and your target has 20% HP, then you would get 16% Bonus Damage from the setbonus. The set roughly averages a damage increase of 10%, given a constant DPS while not losing any HP yourself.
